Painting the World I Want to Live In, One Mini at a Time

Hey, hello there, friend!

Today is Day 50 of my painting challenge. Can you believe, it? AND we have a fresh new drop of mini paintings, and honestly, it couldn’t feel more in tuned with where this challenge has brought me.

Somewhere along this challenge, maybe around the moment I created a new album on my camera roll just to keep track of everything, I realized something big: I’m not just painting minis. I’m building a whole world.

Seeing all the paintings lined up together, almost 50 days in, they don’t even fit on one screen anymore. It’s wild. It’s beautiful. It’s like watching an entire universe expand through my hands.

And the truth is… I keep painting worlds I want to live in for a while: bright, bold, soft, happy, kind realities. I’m enhancing what already exists to match the energy I want to see in the collective. And maybe that’s why this collection feels so special. They’re all the same size, all tiny, all sweet… but together? They feel fascinating, like chapters of the same story.

AI Meets My Camera Roll… And Suddenly My Minis Have Their Own Museum

Inside This Tiny Universe

When I step back, I see:

  • pastel coastlines

  • new horizon discoveries

  • playful bunnies adding a touch of magic

  • golden fields catching the last light

  • palms, birds, and moons, the icons of beach living

  • skies that shift depending on my mood

  • colors chosen from nature herself

Certain subjects keep returning, almost like characters in a story, motifs that insist on being part of the narrative. And beneath everything is the same message I hope people feel: presence, awe, happiness, and that quiet inner smile only beauty can trigger.

One line that keeps ringing in my mind is this:

“Every color I reach for, every subject I choose, and every brushstroke I trust becomes part of this visual language I’m developing, almost unconsciously.”

It feels truer every single day.

The Magic of Painting Every Day

If there’s one thing this challenge teaches you, it’s this: when you paint every day, you can’t hide from yourself. You meet your ideas. Your moods. Your resistance .Your breakthroughs.

Some days you feel empty. Some days you feel unstoppable. But somehow, the world you’re creating grows richer anyway. It expands, whether you feel ready or not. And that’s the true magic, creation as devotion, creation as consciousness.

When Collectors Choose Their Minis

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been watching collectors choose their minis, almost as if the painting chooses them back. Every time a piece leaves the studio, it feels like sending a tiny portal out into the world, a sliver of this universe finding its home.

And together, you’re helping this world grow beyond my hands. You’re giving it life, space, meaning.

I love thinking that there are little pieces of this bright, hopeful, dreamy landscape scattered in homes, desks, kitchens, nurseries, and studios… creating micro-moments of joy every time someone walks by.

As We Approach the Finish Line

There’s a different kind of electricity in these final days, an honest pride that’s hard to put into words. This collection feels like a world that wanted to exist. And I’m so grateful I said yes to bringing it to life. Thank you for being here, for choosing pieces, for cheering me on, and for stepping into this world with me, one 6×6 portal at a time.
