Paintings from different chapters of the studio, brought back into the light.

 

Second Light is my monthly studio rotation, where I bring available works back into the spotlight, offering them a new moment to be seen.

This August edition, Palm State of Mind, features eight original paintings inspired by the symbol that has accompanied my artistic journey from the very beginning. From intimate studies to larger statement pieces, these palms span different chapters of my studio practice, including two new paintings (Forecast and Life Path), one reimagined favorite, and works returning from previous collections.

​

To me, palm trees are more than a landscape. They're a state of mind, a reminder to stay rooted, bend with life's changes, and keep reaching toward the light. That idea has found its way into my work again and again, becoming one of the most recognizable threads running through my collection.

These paintings will remain available until the next studio rotation on the first Saturday of September, when a new chapter from the studio takes their place.

Because sometimes a painting finds its collector immediately. And sometimes it simply waits for its second light.
