New painting studio notes

Hello, hello!

I would like to share a blog post that I created from my studio notes about my latest painting, which happens to be the first of 2024.

Capturing strength in the waves of life:

In my latest painting, I aimed for inspiration from the concept of resilience, showing a scene of rocks standing strong amidst the relentless waves of the ocean. This piece reflects the enduring spirit within us, a testament to the power of resilience.

As shown in my artwork, resilience is like the rocks in the ocean: unwavering and determined. It is about not losing your essence, respecting your nature, and remaining true despite the challenges that may come your way. Like the rocks standing against the current waves, resilience encourages us to stay rooted in our true selves.

No matter what happens, the key is never losing faith or the joy of living. Resilience is the ability to adapt, recover, and reinvent yourself. The rocks symbolize the resilience required to weather the storms of life and understand that a new world, filled with possibilities.

I have created these artworks using my signature impasto technique. Its vibrant colors and beautiful imagery invite you to embark on a journey of self-reflection.

One thing I leaned from living abroad is that my roots and origins are inherently resilient, and so are yours. Pure inspiration, isn't it? As you gaze upon these paintings, let them remind you that resilience is a journey, a continuous process of shaping ourselves.

'Resilience' painting will be available in a few weeks, and 'Between Rocks', you can collect HERE. You can watch my creative process HERE

Please share your thoughts with me.

I hope you love it, as much as I did!

Color Your Life!

Love, Drica
