What Does Freedom Actually Mean to you?

Hey, hello there, friend!
This Friday is the 4th of July - Independence Day here in the United States. A day that, historically, is about celebrating freedom. But lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what freedom actually means to me. Not just as an artist. Not just as a Brazilian living in California. But as a human being, a soul constantly evolving.
And I realized: The most powerful kind of freedom is the one that starts within.
It’s about the freedom to become who I truly am. To feel all the things. To create boldly. To soften without guilt. To ask for help when needed. To express myself, through color, through movement, through art, without asking for permission.
And that’s the kind of freedom I want to celebrate this weekend.
So, what does my art really do for YOU?
I get asked that sometimes. And honestly—it’s not just to decorate a wall (even though yes, it will make your space glow). It’s deeper.
Yes, it’s colorful. Yes, it transforms a wall. But my art is really about energy. About creating portals for who you’re becoming.
Each painting holds space for your future self: The bold one.The grounded one. The soft, expansive, unapologetic version of you. (you know… the one you’re already feeling inside, quietly waking up.)
Let these pieces remind you that freedom isn’t a moment in history. It’s a decision. A daily choice to live in alignment with your truth.

And imagine walking into your home…
Imagine walking into your space and feeling seen, like really seen. Your colors. Your energy. Your evolution. That’s what I paint for.
Because art isn’t just something pretty to hang. It’s something to feel. To connect with.To grow alongside. To carry as part of your legacy.
Your space deserves that kind of intention. YOU deserve to feel supported by your surroundings.
So here’s what I’m celebrating this week (hint: freedom ;)
Freedom to live with color.
Freedom to feel deeply.
Freedom to evolve.
Freedom to dream bigger.
Freedom to wear art, collect it, create it, and just be in it.
No noise. No pressure. Just presence.
A QUICK NOTE: This past week, I lost a dear friend. She was one of my earliest supporters, and one of the first people to collect my art when I was just starting out in Los Angeles. I’ve been sitting with that a lot.Thinking about where that painting of hers will go now (its a big one)… Who will hold it next. And how wild and beautiful it is that something I created will outlive both of us.That it’ll continue telling its story - her story - in a whole new space. It’s made me reflect on legacy in a whole new way. Because yes, art brings color to our present moment…But sometimes, it becomes something we pass on. Something that holds a piece of us. A memory. A feeling. A presence. Maybe even… a kind of freedom.
If this speaks to you…

Here’s to becoming the most vibrant version of you. That’s the kind of independence I’m raising a glass this weekend.
