Walk With Sally’s 11th annual fundraiser, White Light White Night, took place last Saturday - July 22nd, 2017 - in El Segundo, CA and I had the great pleasure to be part of the event! This special night celebrates every year the triumphant spirit of the Walk With Sally children as they invite supporters to contribute to the organization’s life - altering mission to provide free mentoring support programs and services to children who have been impacted by cancer.
This wonderful, memorable evening features live music, a Taste of LA from amazing 25 of LA's top restaurants, signature cocktails, a live auction, and art installations. One of them, was a creation I concocted with kids in the program.
The 'Heart Wall' art installation it was one of my biggest projects and I'm so happy about the results and the whole process of it. From coming up with the idea, working with the kids and letting them take part during the #hearttohome sessions - it was all great! Heart To Home is a quarterly session I lead for the kids at Walk With Sally where they get to be creative and express themselves.
