A few years ago, I added a unique dream to my ever-expanding dream board: to see my artwork showcased in a movie. I've always believed that my colorful brushstrokes could make it to Hollywood, and why not? So, with my not-so-great photoshop skills, I placed one of my paintings on a TV screen in a family's living room. Take a look below! :)
A year passed, and I was shocked and thrilled to hear that my talented friends were making a movie in Los Angeles right after the pandemic. They approached me and asked if they could use one of my paintings as a background prop in one of their scenes. What an incredible opportunity!
Their movie, Catharsis, is a stunning drama that follows the journey of a workaholic woman who loses her job. She embarks on a psychological odyssey, blurring the lines between reality and her deepest desires. Eventually, a peculiar hummingbird guides her back to the path of life. It's a mesmerizing story that will leave you fascinated!
Now, this dream is becoming a reality for me and especially for my dear friends who poured their hearts and souls into writing, producing, and shooting this film. They're now in the post-production phase, and I couldn't be prouder of them.
