June went by, and I kept watching volunteers turning the lifeguard tower 13th in Hermosa Beach into a rainbow. I thought it was amazing and probably the first time I saw the city embracing Pride month festivities. That's why I decided to paint a 'pride' version of my signature paintings. I wanted to register this moment and honor the LGBTQ community and all California lovers.
