STUDIO NOTES: Today’s piece is a little celebration of Pantone’s Color of the Year: Cloud Dancer, an invitation to pause, breathe, and let softness guide the way. Cloud Dancer tempts us to taste a variety of hues in whatever shade moves us. It’s a reminder that pastel and neutral tones don’t compete, they dance together. They make the most beautiful, calming combinations, and I wanted today’s painting to carry that same serene, airy feeling. A gentle moment in the midst of bold color… a breath… a break… a cloud floating across your day.Let me know if you can feel the softness of this one.
