STUDIO NOTES: Continuing the Pantone Color of the Year vibe, today’s piece was inspired by one of my favorite simple joys: riding my bike from Hermosa Beach to Redondo Beach. I have so many photos in my camera roll of this exact view, the light, the pier, the coastline stretching toward Palos Verdes… and yet, for some reason, I barely paint Redondo. So this one feels like an honor, a little love letter to a place that brings me so much peace.It’s also one of my miniature pier versions, soft and subtle, overlooking that beautiful curve of PV in the distance. Cheers to Redondo Beach, to bike rides, to pastel skies, and to the tiny moments that ask to become art.
