STUDIO NOTES: Today I decided to go bold, a true love letter to all my California lovers. This scene is so iconic around here, and painting palm trees always gives me this unique blend of speed, color, and pure freedom on the canvas.
 
There’s also something so special about painting the moon… especially those nights when you look up and only see the tiniest slice of light, that little crescent that feels like the sky is smiling back at you.I wanted to bring that feeling into this piece: the bold palms, the glowing sky, the subtle moon that you almost have to search for… the little magic moment that makes you pause.
