STUDIO NOTES: A miniature version of one of my most requested paintings, the iconic view from under the Manhattan Beach Pier.This is my very first time painting it as a mini, and I loved every second of translating the depth, texture, and flow of my large-scale versions into this tiny format. It felt like distilling a whole world into a handful of inches.I did my best to incorporate the same movement, energy, and layered texture that my big collectors love, just in a more intimate, collectible size.
