STUDIO NOTES: Today’s painting comes from one of the most unforgettable moments of my life, standing in the middle of a vast yellow field, completely surrounded by color. It felt like oneness, like overflow, like abundance expressed through light. A moment where beauty was so immersive I couldn’t tell where I ended and the landscape began. With the rain returning to California (and rain always awakening more color), I finally brought that memory to canvas. A field of yellow that made me feel both expanded and grounded, small and infinite at the same time. This piece is my love letter to this season of my life: brightness, abundance, expansion, and the courage to stand fully in your light. Are you feeling this yellow era too?
