STUDIO NOTES: This morning I went out for my little jog/sprint session, honestly, getting my heart rate up first thing has been life-changing. It was 6:00 am, the sky was absolutely stunning, and for the first time I actually had my phone with me.I spent a good 15 minutes trying to capture that magical light… and by the time the sun fully rose, all the colors had already disappeared. It made me wonder: How often do we stop long enough to feel AWE?
 
That moment felt like a powerful reminder to pause and feel the connection with the whole, just like one of my favorite lines from Meditations by Marcus Aurelius:“I’m part of the whole, all of which is governed by nature.” Simply true.Today’s painting is my attempt to capture that feeling, the palm trees at dawn, the softness of that early glow… and from my imagination, a tiny morning moon tucked into the sky. I’m obsessed.Can you see it?
