STUDIO NOTES: I love how different this ocean scene feels from my usual wave pattern. I wanted to try something I’ve never done before, and to my surprise, the painting feels alive. Fresh, peaceful, and full of movement.The thicker paint textures really switch on your perception… almost like they interrupt the patterned way you normally see the ocean and invite you to look again.
